The opportunity

Teaching Maths across Stages 4 and 5, with experience in Stage 6 highly regarded. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to design and deliver syllabus-aligned programs, develop engaging and challenging learning experiences that promote critical thinking, and provide timely, constructive feedback to support student reflection and growth. This role is centred on nurturing the gifts and talents of each student, ensuring that Catholic practices and Mercy values are embedded in all aspects of school life.

What are we looking for?

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and approval with current NESA accreditation to teach courses in NSW.
• Experience teaching Maths across Stages 4 and 5, with Stage 6 experience highly regarded, and demonstrated alignment with relevant curriculum requirements.
• Demonstrated capacity to critically reflect on and adapt teaching practice to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Ability to foster a supportive and engaging environment that promotes effective student learning.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational, administrative, and collaborative skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the teaching needs of the College.
• Commitment to actively supporting and participating in the life of the College, including its Catholic mission and Mercy values.
• Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College (with no regular weekend sporting commitments).
• Current Working with Children Check clearance.
