Job Description

The Role

A highly skilled and innovative Secondary Teacher of French is sought to teach across the Middle Schools (boys and girls) Years 7 to 10, in a part-time (approx. 0.67 FTE) ongoing position commencing in January 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate they are:

• An outstanding and inspiring classroom teacher;
• Knowledgeable in teaching French and in current pedagogical thinking, with other teaching methods also considered;
• Committed to student care and wellbeing; and
• Committed to delivering a high quality programme.

The School

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School has over 3000 students from K-12 at campuses in Moonee Ponds, Essendon and Keilor East. We have outstanding staff, facilities and programmes to enhance student wellbeing and learning and develop creative, caring and critical thinkers.
