About You

As part of the Learning Support Team you will assist the classroom teacher in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum. You must be able to demonstrate:

• an understanding of the diverse needs of students who require individual and classroom support
• a passion for supporting students with intellectual disabilities
• experience or an interest in working in diverse and inclusive settings
• the ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member
• excellent communication skills
• the ability to be organised, supportive, and resourceful
• a willingness to support the positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for students
• the capacity to assist in the delivery of differentiated programs based on NESA Life Skills outcomes
• a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW, or an equivalent post-secondary qualification.
