• 12 month Fixed Term Contract Japanese Language Teacher

St Peter's is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our team in a 1.0FTE Japanese Language teaching position, commencing at the start of the 2026 school year.

The position will commence on Tuesday 27 January 2026.

The successful applicant will have the capacity to:

• Provide effective differentiated teaching in the key area of Japanese Language
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
• Work collaboratively and cohesively within staff teams
• Support the Catholic ethos of the school and incorporate Catholic Social Teachings
• Provide engaging learning opportunities across the curriculum

The successful applicant will require:

• VIT registration (or in the process of obtaining)
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or in the process of obtaining or be willing to obtain within two years).

St Peter’s has an enrolment of over 600 children across 28 classes. The school demonstrates a strong Catholic ethos. Parents actively participate in classroom literacy and numeracy activities, excursions, inter-school sport, the School Advisory Council and the Parents and Friends Association, which organises a range of social activities across the year. The school has an Out of Hours Care Program.
