We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sports Administration Assistant to join our Sports Department. Commencing in January 2026, this key role works deliver sports programs and events at Scotch College, ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently to support the smooth operation of sporting activities across the School.
Coordinating sports logistics, maintaining records, administering compliance and supporting communication with a wide range of stakeholders, this role also provides hands on support at key sporting events and training sessions, ensuring a high standard of service and operational excellence throughout the year. Working closely with Sports team, teaching staff, students, coaches, and external providers, the Administration Assistant is instrumental in promoting student participation and upholding the School’s values in sport.
The successful applicant will have:
- Values of excellence, respect, responsibility and reverence
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build positive, trusting and effective relationships with students, parents, colleagues and external stakeholders
- High-level IT skills including Microsoft 365 suite and database management
- General knowledge of and interest in sport
- High level organisational skills and the ability to administer the practical aspects of running sporting competitions
- Demonstrated attention to detail with outstanding accuracy with record keeping and data management
- Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in administration
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in child safety and wellbeing (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
