Secondary Music Teacher

Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood.

We are inviting applicants with a growth mindset and a passion for lifelong learning, who are inspired and motivated to work in a contemporary learning context, to apply for the part-time position of Secondary Music Teacher. This is a (0.50) FTE part-time permanent position commencing from Term 1, 2026 located at our Secondary School in Burwood.

We are seeking applicants who are to share their love of learning, their knowledge and practice of contemporary pedagogies, and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.

Applicants must have the following;

• current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching,
• experience delivering a diverse and engaging music education program to students in Years 7–10.
• a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children.
• current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain within six months of employment
