Nestled in the heart of Victoria Point, St Rita’s Primary School proudly serves approximately 435 students. Founded by the Augustinians in 1993, our school community is deeply rooted in our motto: “Work of faith, labour of love and service, and promise of hope”. Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to:

• lead the religious life of the school and build a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
• grow the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
• build a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

• Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
• Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
• For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
