Summary
The Administrative Services Officer – School Performance provides high level administrative support to enable the effective delivery of services to schools. Working within the School Performance team, this role supports day to day operations by coordinating administrative activities, managing enquiries, and contributing to continuous improvement across processes and practices. The position works closely with School Performance Senior Leaders and a range of stakeholders to ensure services are delivered in a timely, collaborative and school centred way. ‑level administrative support to enable the effective delivery of services to schools. Working within the School Performance team, this role supports day‑to‑day operations by coordinating administrative activities, managing enquiries, and contributing to continuous improvement across processes and practices. The position works closely with School Performance Advisors and a range of stakeholders to ensure services are delivered in a timely, collaborative and school‑centred way.

- Salary: $80,318 - $90,762 plus super

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Provide advanced administrative support to the School Performance function, aligned with organisational priorities and school strategic plans
- Coordinate and manage a broad range of administrative tasks to support effective service delivery to schools
- Prioritise workloads, investigate issues, and resolve or escalate matters in a timely and considered way
- Draft correspondence and responses to enquiries, ensuring accuracy and professionalism
- Respond to enquiries and provide advice in line with relevant procedures, guidelines and legislation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support requests and address service needs
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Having a strong attention to detail
- Proactive approach to adherence to policies and procedures
- Experience in a similar position and possess strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and tasks, undertaking initial investigations, and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills to respond to enquiries
- Working closely with a senior staff to provide administrative assistance
- Demonstrated experience providing high level administrative support in a complex or fast paced environment‑level administrative support in a complex or fast‑paced environment
- There are no mandatory qualifications however previous experience in a similar position would be highly regarded
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children
