About our school

Holy Spirit College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school located in the rapidly developing suburb of Fitzgibbon in North Brisbane, approximately 15km from Brisbane CBD. The College opened in January 2022 with 96 Year 7 students and will increase by one year level annually until we reach Year 12. The College is master planned for 1080 students.

Summary

Drive strategic marketing, communications and enrolment initiatives, collaborating with leadership and key stakeholders to support the College’s growth and operational success. Provide expert advice while managing day-to-day marketing operations, enrolment processes, administration and associated financial matters across the school. Deliver high-level support to achieve strategic objectives, strengthen community engagement, and ensure the seamless coordination of marketing activities and student enrolments.

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the development, maintenance, and operations of online and print media, recommending improvements to processes and procedures where relevant
  • Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures, and other guideline material and creating continuity of branding within the school
  • Preparing and maintaining marketing procurement activities including overseeing budget administration, and activities
  • Reviewing, developing, and implementing processes and systems that enable effective management of social media, online platforms, and apps ensuring they are consistent with the school’s strategic and operational objectives
  • Marketing and promoting services, coordinating programs and events that are responsive to the school requirements and current trends.
  • Contributing to the school’s strategic and operational plans by reviewing legislation, regulations, initiatives and policies and providing recommendations
  • Prepare and distribute enrolment information to prospective families
  • Coordinate and oversee the full enrolment process, from initial enquiry through to student commencement at the College
  • Maintain timely communication and follow up with prospective families, including the collection of application fees, bonds, and required documentation
  • Act as a liaison between parents and the College Principal throughout the enrolment process and subsequent enrolment period.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with demonstrated experience working autonomously
  • Strong innovative, creative, and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Experience working within a secondary school environment (experience in a BCE school preferred)
  • Proficiency in media management across digital and print platforms
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing digital strategies aligned with organisational objectives
  • Proven ability to coordinate marketing initiatives and events in response to organisational needs and emerging trends
  • Ability to interpret relevant legislation and ensure consistent brand compliance
  • Experience managing marketing procurement processes and budgeting activities
  • Holds a Tertiary qualification in Marketing or related field.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
