Location: Magdalene Catholic College, Narellan

A permanent full time position commencing 27 January 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach TAS subjects in addition to the possibility of VET and/or Religious Education subjects.

The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students to reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
• Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
• Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in various TAS subjects across all stages
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the wider school community.

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA

• Qualified and enthusiastic to teach various VET subjects and the ability to teach Religious Education and/or Studies of Religion I and/or II.

GENERAL CAPABILITIES

• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).
• Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
• The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
