Job Description

We are looking for a junior ICT / AV Technician to help provide frontline technical support to staff and students with the central goal of enhancing the student learning experience. This role requires strong customer service skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to support a wide range of platforms and devices within a dynamic school environment. Essential to this role is the installation, maintenance and operation of audiovisual (AV) systems across the school, ensuring reliable and effective technology integration in teaching and learning spaces. The successful applicant will have:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving common technical issues
- Understanding of network protocols and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity problems
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) and can assist users effectively
- Strong analytical and problem skills
- Strong customer service background and focus
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workflow
- Ability to collaborate and contribute to positively to team dynamics
- Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and perform under pressure
- Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in ICT (preferred)
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in child safety and wellbeing (or willing to obtain)
- Current Employee Working with Children check or VIT
