Job Description

We are looking for an outstanding Database and Data Platform Administrator to join our ICT team. This role is responsible for the efficient operation, integration, and availability of databases and core systems that support teaching, learning, and school operations. The position plays a key role in shaping the School’s digital environment by implementing innovative, user-focused, data-driven solutions that enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement. Leveraging modern data practices and integration strategies, the role also ensures a secure, high-performing, and sustainable digital infrastructure.
Working closely with the ICT Development Manager, the Database and Data Platform Administrator manages critical platforms including the Student Information System (currently Synergetic), Learning Management System (currently Canvas & Schoolbox), and related applications for attendance, reporting, excursions, event management, and other operational functions. The role also provides technical support across the team, contributing to a collaborative and responsive ICT service.

- Experience in administering, SQL Servers (including SQL queries), Student Information Systems and Crystal Reports
- Working knowledge of API’s, Azure DevOps, and Data Warehousing
- Experience with Cloud Database Platforms such as Azure SQL
- Experience/familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Microsoft Fabric and Sharepoint
- Understanding of APIs, integration software, and associated providers
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable) and/or experience (min 5years) in database administration or related field
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in child safety and wellbeing
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
