With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

The Wantirna South Campus is seeking a part time (FTE 0.633) Primary ICT Teacher to inspire students to explore and create through digital technologies. You will design engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build students’ digital skills and confidence across the curriculum. For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to take on the position of Learning Technologies Coordinator, providing leadership in the integration of technology to enhance teaching and learning across the sub-school.  If offered this position, the FTE would be 0.74.

  • Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
  • Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
  • Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College’s programs and opportunities.

Some of the benefits of working at Waverley Christian College include:

  • A range of salary packaging options
  • School fees discounts for staff whose children attend the school (after 12 months)
  • Paid parental leave
  • Flexible work opportunities
  • Wellbeing initiatives
  • Career and leadership professional development opportunities
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Friendly and collegial community to work with

All potential employees will be required to comply with the College’s Child Safety Code of Conduct, Child Safety Policy, and Student Wellbeing Policy.  We have zero tolerance for child abuse. You will be expected to contribute proactively to a culture of child safety at the College.

Waverley Christian College is committed to providing best practice support for graduate teachers and teachers who are new to Christian Education. Our Graduate Teacher Program includes time release, mentoring, equipping for Christian Education and a comprehensive induction program that will help to develop the skills and competencies needed to become an effective classroom practitioner.
