Your Role
As a Senior Speech Language Pathologist (Supervisory), you will provide professional leadership and clinical supervision to school-based Speech Language Pathologists. You will guide and support the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality services that enable children and students to access, engage, and fully participate in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide leadership and clinical supervision to Speech Language Pathologists, working collaboratively with regional and school management teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Contribute to the development of statewide programs, policies, operational standards, and procedures that support the effective delivery of speech language pathology services across Queensland.
- Offer professional supervision, leadership, and support to Speech Language Pathologists within the region to achieve quality educational outcomes for students.
- Identify professional development needs and lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of supervision, training, and development initiatives.
- Collaborate with Principal Advisors and Senior Officers across all therapy streams to identify and address common issues affecting therapy services in education.

About You
The following skills and attributes will be highly regarded:
- A high level of knowledge and experience in the delivery of speech language pathology services within an educational setting.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams at both regional and statewide levels.
- Sound understanding of professional support and supervision models within speech language pathology.
