Holy Spirit School, New Farm is seeking passionate and experienced educators who are committed to delivering high-quality, holistic education.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices
- Deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and proven use of effective pedagogical practices that support and extend student learning
- Strong data literacy skills to inform teaching and enhance student outcomes
- Expertise in fostering literacy and numeracy development across diverse learning needs
- Proficiency in planning, assessing, and reporting on student progress
- A commitment to nurturing the whole child, supporting their academic, emotional, social, and spiritual growth
- Experience in teaching, assessing, and reporting against the Religious Education Curriculum
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a dynamic team environment
- Dedication to creating a supportive and engaging classroom that inspires a love of learning

About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Creating a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum
- Expertise in designing and delivering effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve the best educational outcomes for students
- A passion to support students' spiritual and moral development
- An experience teacher, with a commitment to student literacy and numeracy
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
