About the Role

The Partnerships Facilitator, Early Years will play a pivotal role in implementing early childhood initiatives that strengthen children's participation, engagement, and successful transitions into learning pathways.

Working collaboratively with schools, early childhood services and community partners, the role focuses on developing and delivering place-based strategies that improve educational outcomes and wellbeing for children and families.

The position involves leading project-based work to ensure outcomes are achieved effectively and on time, while preparing high-quality reports, submissions, and correspondence that inform strategic decision-making across the region.

Your Responsibilities

As the Partnerships Facilitator, Early Years, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across government
  • Community and education sectors.
  • Understanding of early childhood development, education and care, alongside experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that respond to local needs.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data—including demographic, economic, and ECEC sector performance information
  • The ability to communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities and deliver practical solutions in complex environments will also support success in this position.
