Your Responsibilities
As the Principal Advisor, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and provide high level advice and support to the Regional Director and other senior officers with respect to the statewide implementation of strategic policy initiatives as they relate to state schooling including Australian government and whole of government initiatives, emerging initiatives and schooling policies and procedures.
- Manage and quality assure the preparation of high level responses, reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence, as well as responses to the annual cycle of corporate strategic, budgeting and reporting requirements.
- Respond to and coordinate responses to complex and sensitive issues and complaints emanating from the Office of the Minister, Director-General, Deputy Director-General and other high level sources.
- Monitor, analyse and evaluate activities and work practices within the region to ensure alignment with changing corporate goals and to inform future planning.
