The Perfect Fit

As the Human Resource Services Officer, you will deliver high-quality, confidential human resource and administrative support within the North Queensland Human Resources Team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders, support day-to-day HR operations, and ensure accurate, timely information is available to guide effective decision-making.

We are seeking an individual with experience in confidential HR work, strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative precision with people-focused service.

You will manage reports, maintain HR systems, provide policy advice, and help ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Your Responsibilities

As the Human Resources Services Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide efficient, effective and confidential human resource services and administrative support.
  • Liaise and negotiate on relevant HR issues on behalf of senior management.
  • Prepare monthly statistics for reporting purposes to senior management.
  • Provide current and accurate advice on relevant departmental processes and policies.
  • Provide confidential administrative and executive support.
