We are seeking to establish a pool of Teacher - Primary for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Bicton Primary School (PS) is located in the established suburb of Bicton, 6km east of Fremantle, near the beautiful Swan River. The school was opened in 1904. As an independent school, we aim to provide an educational program of the highest standard. The Role
Educators should prioritise high-quality teaching and student wellbeing, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and the use of the “Teaching for Impact” resource. Experience implementing daily reviews within Literacy and Numeracy Blocks is highly desirable.
Suitable applicants will be highly motivated, reflective practitioners with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. They will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and maintain a strong commitment to professional excellence, high expectations, and the belief that all students can achieve success.
We are seeking teachers who deliver high-quality learning programs and use evidence-based teaching practices to achieve strong student outcomes. Applicants should actively contribute to the ongoing development and embedding of whole-school programs and pedagogical approaches.
Bicton PS implements Literacy and Numeracy Blocks incorporating engagement norms and daily reviews, Ochre Mathematics, Seven Steps to Writing, Promoting Literacy Development (PLD) Synthetic Phonics, Positive Behaviour Schools (PBS), and Zones of Regulation. Familiarity with these programs and approaches is preferred but not essential.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
