Position Information
Trangie Central School has an enrolment of 172 students, ranging from kindergarten to Year 12, with 48% of students identifying as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The school is located 72km west of Dubbo, with agriculture being one of the main local industries.

Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Technology Mandatory Timber and Metal or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Technology and Applied Studies qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
 - Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with students, staff and parents to improve student learning outcomes.
 - Capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and contribute to differentiated teaching and learning programs to maximise student growth and promote high expectations for all students.
 - Willingness to undertake innovative enrichment programs that are inclusive of a Central School environment.
 - Commitment to the Department's Aboriginal Education Policies.
 
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
