About You
As a Sport Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- experience in teaching K-6 PDHPE
- a wide understanding of current best teaching practices in PDHPE
- vision and innovative thinking in the development of PDHPE programs
- an ability to organise and coordinate sports carnivals and co-curricular activities
- confidence and competence in the use of ICT
- a commitment to a learning culture focused on student learning growth, informed by data
- highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents/carers, students, and staff
- a willingness to be involved in the Co-curricular life of the School
- expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
- strong classroom management & student well-being focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
