Veritas Education are currently seeking an experienced SEN Specialist to join a vibrant Primary School in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in supporting pupils with special educational needs to make a real impact in a nurturing school environment.

About the Role:

As the SEN Specialist, you will work closely with teachers, support staff and the SENCo to deliver high-quality, targeted support to pupils with a range of additional needs. You will help develop and implement individual learning plans, provide in-class and small group interventions, and contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting (essential)
• A solid understanding of a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
• Relevant qualifications (Level 3 Teaching Assistant, HLTA, or equivalent - essential)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to adapt learning strategies to meet individual pupil needs
• A proactive, compassionate approach and a genuine passion for inclusive education
