Chisholm Catholic College, Cornubia is seeking a dedicated School Finance Officer to support the efficient management of the College’s financial operations in a collaborative and values-driven environment.
Deliver impactful and efficient financial services to the school leadership team, supporting a wide range of tasks to drive and enhance the smooth operation of the school!

About the opportunity
Responsibilities for this position could include:
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Cashier and banking duties
- Accounts receivable, including debt collection
- Accounts payable
- Report preparation
- Other administrative duties assigned as appropriate
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Have previous experience in accounts or finance role
- Skills in developing and implementing effective financial management processes
- Good understanding of accounting principles and account reconciliations
- Demonstrate attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure with high prioritization skills to meet deadlines
- Have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the school and demonstrate initiative
- Be a skilful negotiator and communicator who is able to liaise with the school's Parent/Guardian community with empathy; Demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
