In this highly rewarding role, you’ll work alongside families navigating complex challenges, helping them build safer, healthier futures through evidence-based, harm-minimisation care.

What you'll be doing

In this diverse and impactful role, you will:

  • Work across community and hospital settings, partnering with maternity, child and family health, and Drug and Alcohol Counselling Service (DACS) teams
  • Support healthy family functioning, enhance parenting capacity, and respond confidently to complex psychosocial needs
  • Provide holistic, person-centred care that improves outcomes for parents, babies, and their support networks

No two days are the same. Every interaction is an opportunity to create meaningful change through empathy, respect, and clinical excellence.

You'll be well supported through:

  • A structured orientation program
  • Ongoing guidance from your Line Manager, District Manager, and Allied Health Lead
  • Clinical support from Clinical Midwife Consultants (CMC) and DACS Specialists
  • Access to ongoing education, professional development, and strong interdisciplinary partnerships
