Location: Croydon, South London Position: Primary Class Teacher Start Date: January 2026 Pay: £3,500 - £4,500 per month

Veritas Education is pleased to be supporting a welcoming, community-focused primary school in Croydon in their search for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is known for its inclusive ethos, vibrant curriculum, and strong dedication to ensuring every child achieves their full academic and personal potential. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a primary class, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that promote curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who enjoys creating dynamic learning experiences, building positive relationships with pupils and families, and contributing to a supportive, forward-thinking school community.

The Ideal Primary Class Teacher Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Experience teaching in a primary school (desirable, but ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply)
• A solid understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment requirements

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress to support effective teaching
