About You
As an English Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach English to students in Years 7 to 12
- create and implement engaging, rigorous learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to set challenging learning objectives and provide constructive feedback
- integrate a broad range of innovative technologies into daily teaching practice, reflecting contemporary learning experiences
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills that optimise student participation and success in dynamic learning environments
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment provided for students
- demonstrate a tertiary qualification in Education and eligiblity for accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- demonstrate Religious Education qualifications or a willingness to obtain them in accordance with the Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
