English/Humanities Teacher

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Secondary English / Humanities Teacher to join a growing and supportive teaching team.
About the Role
As a Secondary English/Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging and meaningful learning experiences that develop students’ literacy, critical thinking, and understanding of history, society, and the world around them.
Working collaboratively with a supportive faculty team, you will contribute to curriculum delivery, student wellbeing initiatives, and the broader life of the College.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging English and Humanities lessons aligned to curriculum standards
- Supporting student academic, social, and emotional development
- Creating a positive, structured, and well-managed classroom environment
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of a diverse range of students
- Contributing to assessment, reporting, and curriculum planning
- Participating in whole-school initiatives and community activities
About You
The successful applicant will be a passionate and student-focused educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching in a supportive school environment.
You will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (essential)
- Strong classroom management and curriculum planning skills
- The ability to engage and inspire secondary students
- A collaborative, reflective, and professional approach to teaching
- A commitment to working within a values-based school environment
- Full working rights in Australia
