About You
As a Drama teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Drama in Years 9,10,11 with the ability to teach another subject
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- integrate a broad range of innovative technologies into daily teaching practice reflecting contemporary learning experiences
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills designed to optimise student participation and success in dynamic learning environments
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students.
- demonstrate a tertiary qualification in Education and eligiblity for accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- demonstrate Religious Education qualifications or a willingness to obtain them in accordance with the Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
