St Aloysius Catholic Primary School is located in the beautiful beachside suburb of Cronulla. It caters to the educational needs of both girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 6. About You

As a Classroom Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy within a Catholic learning environment. To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • knowledge and commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education and personal faith practice
  • skills in implementing rigorous and engaging teaching and learning programs to meet the diverse needs of students and improve outcomes
  • knowledge and understanding of the NSW K-6 Curriculum, with a strong skill set in English and Mathematics pedagogy and practice
  • effective formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • the effective use of data to establish challenging learning goals and provide effective feedback to students
  • excellent classroom management that is proactive in supporting the wellbeing of students
  • the ability to integrate ICT effectively and creatively to provide authentic learning opportunities within a contemporary environment
  • the ability to work collaboratively and seek feedback to continuously improve classroom practice
  • a willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community.
  • a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
