About You
As a Classroom Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy within a Catholic learning environment. To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- knowledge and commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education and personal faith practice
- skills in implementing rigorous and engaging teaching and learning programs to meet the diverse needs of students and improve outcomes
- knowledge and understanding of the NSW K-6 Curriculum, with a strong skill set in English and Mathematics pedagogy and practice
- effective formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- the effective use of data to establish challenging learning goals and provide effective feedback to students
- excellent classroom management that is proactive in supporting the wellbeing of students
- the ability to integrate ICT effectively and creatively to provide authentic learning opportunities within a contemporary environment
- the ability to work collaboratively and seek feedback to continuously improve classroom practice
- a willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community.
- a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
