Mount St Joseph Catholic College was opened in 1960 in answer to a desperate need for a Catholic girls’ secondary school in south-western Sydney. About You
As an Assistant Leader of Learning HSIE, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The Assistant Leader of Learning HSIE position is a 1-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full-time and permanent. You'll bring:
- expertise in HSIE, with additional teaching areas Legal Studies, Economics, Business Studies, Geography or Commerce
- strong classroom management & student well-being focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
- Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
