Administration Assistant: Student Wellbeing and Learning
Location: World Square, CBD and WFH
Start Date: Immediate start or by negotiation

About the Role
This role is dedicated to delivering administrative and data support to the Student Wellbeing and Learning team, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of its operations.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- managing schedules extensively, including appointments, meeting priorities, pre-meeting materials, action tracking, and guest coordination with all necessary paperwork
- delivering a range of administrative services such as filing, mail handling, register maintenance, routine procurement, meeting and event support, photocopying, and document
- preparation to ensure the effective functioning of the team
- collecting and compiling information to support the development of documentation and reports
- responding to enquiries and routine requests for information, escalating enquiries as necessary, to ensure the provision of accurate information
- updating records and databases, complying with records management processes, to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible
- any other duties as directed from time to time.
About You
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support the smooth and efficient operation of the department. This role requires someone who is experienced and highly organised, with a strong data-driven mindset and a creative approach.
To be successful, you will require the following experience, skills and knowledge:
- a TAFE NSW/College Certificate III/IV or equivalent qualification in administration
- demonstrated experience in client service and handling difficult conversations
- demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- technology proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- a willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic Schools.
Desirable:
- prior experience in an administration role
- the ability to assist with basic bookkeeping
- previous experience in a school environment
- technology proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft
- a current driver's licence and access to a car
- knowledge of Catholic Systemic Schools/Systems.
