Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a passionate and creative Art & Design Technology Teacher.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is enthusiastic about inspiring creativity and developing pupils' practical and artistic skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

• Teaching Art and Design Technology in line with the national curriculum
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Encouraging creativity, innovation and independent thinking
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Art and/or DT at secondary level
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Passionate about creative subjects and pupil development
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
