Trinity Bay State High School is seeking a Vocational Trainer to join our Senior Secondary team in the 2026 school year.

This temporary role will commence as soon as possible from 27/01/26, working across five days.

Your Role

A summary of the role that's being advertised, utilised to educate the candidate on the vacancy.

  • Oversee RTO operations, ensuring compliance with AQF standards, quality processes, student management and VET teacher capability.
  • Support Senior Schooling processes, including pathways advice, subject changes and QCE-at-risk interventions.
  • Deliver VET courses and provide differentiated, industry-aligned instruction and assessment.
  • Work collaboratively to design and deliver VET curriculum that strengthens students' transition from school to employment.
  • Guide students in job-readiness, employability skills, workplace behaviour and successful job retention.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with industry, employers and the school community to support student opportunities and monitor progress.
  • Maintain accurate training, assessment and reporting records, meeting all RTO, work placement and school deadlines.

  • Maintain a student-centred approach and adapt your support to meet diverse learning and pathway needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support strong student outcomes.
  • Uphold professional integrity and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of record-keeping and student information.
