Position Descriptor: Springbank Secondary College is a growing site that specialises in providing flexible learning pedagogy and curriculum for students who benefit from a small school community. We operate in an inclusive model where inclusion means we provide learning opportunities that cater for all points of difference in our student cohort including but not limited to, cultural, social/emotional, academic ability and sexuality/gender differences. Our site is small by design with an enrolment cap of 450 where our model is supported by smaller class sizes and additional SSO support. Special Class students currently participate in learning alongside age appropriate peers in all subject areas providing a holistic tailored learning environment for all. This approach to Special Class students is currently under review. This position will be responsible for the delivery of Material Products (wood) to Year 12, Coding through Integrated Learning to Year 12 and middle years Digital Technology.
