Position Descriptor: Peterborough Primary is a progressive and dynamic school that has engaged with latest Department of Education strategies that support learners develop understanding and expand educators skill sets. We are a small (currently 3 classes < 14 students) and well resourced school that operates in a collegial, supportive environment. PPS embraces new initiatives and is currently involved in Expeditionary Learning Trial and Dfe Phonics and Spelling scope and sequence Trial. At this site, you will receive an additional $4,635 in country incentives in your first year through: - Country Incentives Zone Allowance: $3,870 per year - One-off incidentals payment: $765 After your first year, you will continue to receive the ongoing allowances each year, currently $3,870. You may also be eligible for: - a 20% rental subsidy - payment of removal and relocation costs; on average approximately $7000* - travel and accommodation costs for medical and dental treatment. The department's country housing service will be available for teachers relocating to a country position at all schools and preschools.
