Position Descriptor: Blair Athol North B6 School is a dynamic yet complex category 2 school. Our school comprises mainstream, an Intensive English Language Centre and a Children's Centre, with 85% of our learners having a multi-cultural background.

This position will be within a team-teaching situation with our two full-time classroom teachers. We are seeking a highly collaborative teacher who will work within our Year 5 classrooms to ensure every child's learning needs are met within authentic and rigorous learning experiences. We aspire to every learner being highly engaged, thinking and empowered in conditions that promote a sense of belonging, voice and agency.

Trauma informed practices stress the importance of trust and strong positive relationships with students. At Blair Athol North B6 School, we are committed to ensuring every child's needs are met so that they can learn with purpose about their world.
