About the role

The Study Tour Marketing Officer sits within DE International in the Student Support and Specialist Programs directorate. The role assists with the planning, development, implementation and review of the Study Tours program for groups of overseas students and adults visiting a NSW government school.

  • Manage study tour enquiries and agent registrations, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Process expressions of interest (EOIs) for new agents and support contract reviews through performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to marketing strategies to expand DE International programs.
  • Deliver training to schools, tour operators, and agents to boost knowledge and compliance with governance requirements.
  • Travel overseas (twice in 11 months) to promote DE International programs globally.

About you

Essential requirements of the role

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to undertake overseas travel as required to support the promotion and delivery of DE International programs.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment
  • Valid NSW driver licence
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
