St Bernard’s Primary School is a Catholic co-educational school within the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn, catering to approximately 380 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. About the Role
The Welfare Officer is responsible for supporting the wellbeing of students through the delivery of pastoral care services. This role involves implementing and monitoring strategies that promote a positive and inclusive environment across the school community. Additionally, the Welfare Officer will provide direct support to students and accompany them on excursions as required. This position requires a proactive and professional approach to student welfare and community engagement.

Qualifications
- NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Completed Certificate IV in Youth Work; or
- Completed Certificate IV in Pastoral Care; or
- Diploma or Bachelor in relevant field
- Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
