About the Role

As a Casual Teacher at SMSM College, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning while fostering a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.

Successful applicants will:

• Demonstrate a commitment to the Christian ethos and Coptic Orthodox values of the College.
• Deliver engaging and purposeful lessons in line with provided programs.
• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Effectively manage classroom routines and student behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with staff and follow school procedures and expectations.
• Contribute positively to the life of the College community.

Essential Requirements

• Recognised teaching qualification
• Current NESA accreditation (or eligibility)
• Current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to contribute to school life
