This is a progressional position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the lower classification with eligibility for progression to the next, once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of both classification ranges.
About the Role:
Gowrie State School, Meringandan State School, Kingsthorpe State School and Goombungee State School are requiring a School Technical Officer to work across the four campuses to support the digital systems within each school context.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the digital systems across the school/s in operational order.
- Asset management including advising regarding fleet management, device purchase, warranty claims, device reimaging, disposal, etc.
- Working as part of a team to support teacher's capability for digitally enhanced and enabled teaching and learning.
- Working as part of the regional team to support regional system technicians as required.

About You:
- Must be able to work independently, whilst also maintaining accountability measures as negotiated with the principal of each school.
- Strong communication skills to support others to grow their digital knowledges.
- Efficient and effective task and time management skills.
- Willingness to attend the four school sites across a fortnightly basis.
