About You
As a School Support Officer (Level 4), you will be an integral member of the school community, you will demonstrate St John Bosco College Engadine's values and professional standards in interacting with students, staff, parents and the community.
To be successful for this role, you demonstrate:
- strong communication skills and an ability to deal sensitively with students, parents/carers and staff when required
- excellent organisational skills including the ability to work effectively in a busy environment, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- experience working in administration
- experience using Compass or the ability to learn new systems
- an ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
- advanced computer literacy skills (MS Office and Google suite)
- interpersonal skills in working with a range of people
- excellent written and oral communication
- accuracy and attention to detail
- an ability to recognise confidential issues as they arise and to treat them with the sensitivity required
- a willingness to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- a willingness to perform other duties as directed by the Principal.
You will have attained:
- a Certificate III/ IV (TAFE NSW) or equivalent post-secondary qualification in administration, human resources, finance, accounting or equivalent
- a current First Aid certificate.
