Domremy College is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic teacher to join our Religious Education Faculty. This is a full-time, permanent role with the opportunity to serve as the Youth Ministry Coordinator.
We are looking for an exceptional teacher with a strong academic background who can promote personal excellence and inspire young women to love learning, aligning with the College's Learning Framework and the Presentation tradition.
About You
As a Religious Education Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
You will have attained:
- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- Religious Education qualifications as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
