Salary: 0.2FTE pro rata $79,589 - $118,063 + superannuation + salary packaging

Commencement Date: 27th January 2026 - Day may be negotiated with successful applicant

About the role

St Agatha's Catholic Primary School has a friendly, professional team of staff who provide a supportive work culture and a positive and inspiring work environment. We are currently seeking a Classroom Primary Teacher to join our supportive compassionate team on a permanent full-time basis.

The duties and the responsibilities include:

  • Plan, teach, assess and report in line with the Victorian Curriculum v2.0 to support student growth and achievement.
  • Reflect and grow as an educator through professional learning, data-informed practice, and continuous improvement.
  • Create a child-safe and inclusive environment that supports student wellbeing and fosters positive relationships.

Essential Knowledge and Requirements

  • VIT registration.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • A commitment to the understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission.
  • First Aid certified.
  • Current knowledge of learning technologies in relation to the role and delivery of the curriculum.
  • Exemplary teaching practice with proven classroom management practice.
  • Knowledge of current educational needs and achievement standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to address students' varying intellectual, emotional, and physical abilities in teaching practice and pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working within a Google Chrome environment.
