Job Summary
The Jannali High School (TJHS) is a 7-12 comprehensive coeducational school seeking two teachers to join the HSIE faculty on full-time contracts.

Position Information:

There are 2 positions needing to be filled:

Allocation 1:

• Subjects: Year 12 Business, Year 11 Business, Year 10 Commerce, Year 10 HSIE & Year 8 HSIE
• Duration: Week 5, Term 2 2026 – end of 2026 (with possibility of extension)

Allocation 2:

• Subjects: Year 12 Business, Year 11 Business & Years 7–10 HSIE
• Duration: Week 5, Term 3 2026 – end of 2026 (with possibility of extension)

Position Criteria:

1. Approval to teach Business Studies (11-12), Geography (7-10) and Commerce. Approval to teach Geography (11-12) would be advantageous.
2. Proven capacity to implement innovative and effective classroom practice, including the use of a range of 21st century approaches for a diverse clientele.
3. Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively as an effective team member within the faculty undertaking curriculum reform.
4. Willingness to actively contribute to whole school initiatives to achieve the school’s Strategic Directions in the context of the HSIE faculty.
