Part-Time Year 6 Teaching AssistantVeritas Education - Primary School Near Lancaster

Veritas Education is working with a welcoming Primary School close to Lancaster that is seeking a part-time Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join their team from April until the end of term. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to support pupils through a key stage in their learning.

Start Date: April

Hours: 08:45 - 12:00, Monday to Friday

Location: Primary School near Lancaster

Year Group: Year 6

Contract: Long-term (through to end of term)

About the Role

The successful candidate will work every morning supporting both the class teacher and Year 6 pupils. Responsibilities will include:

Providing one-to-one support for targeted pupils
Delivering small group intervention work
Assisting the teacher with classroom activities and preparation
Helping to boost pupil confidence and attainment in core subjects

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting pupils in KS2 (Year 6 experience desirable)
Strong skills in Maths and English
A supportive, positive, and proactive attitude
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Reliability and commitment to the morning schedule
