Lead Educator: Maximum-Term (9months) , Part-Time

Living Faith Lutheran Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team in a maximum-term, part-time capacity (minimum of 15 hours a week worked over 4–5 days per week) with a possibility of extension.

About the Role

Working alongside Early Childhood Teachers and our Educational Leader, you will:

• Support the implementation of a play-based curriculum aligned with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
• Mentor and guide educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences
• Support each child’s participation, development, and wellbeing
• Contribute to the development and review of the Quality Improvement Plan

About Us

We are a not-for-profit, two-room kindergarten catering for up to 44 children per day within a long day care model (6:30am – 6:00pm).

We operate year-round (excluding approximately 2 weeks over Christmas and 2 professional development days) and are proud to have been rated Exceeding the National Quality Standard twice since opening in 2014.

About You

• Diploma (or equivalent) in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in early childhood education
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current Gecko Training
• Working rights in Australia

Availability

Must be available to work shifts between 6:30am and 6:00pm every day (rostered hours discussed during recruitment).

Contract length: 9 months

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
