About the role

The ICT Helpdesk Technician role provides key Level 2 support to resolve second tier help desk enquiries and supports the day-to-day maintenance and running of the School ICT facilities, predominantly at our Mile End Campus.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing the second tier of support for staff and students for ICT and in class AV issues either over the phone or in person.
• Provisioning new accounts and hardware for new staff and students and providing basic training on the use of their device.
• Coordinating repairs of faulty or damaged equipment that is under warranty or covered by accidental damage policies.

The successful applicant will:

• Be committed to Christ and Christian education.
• Hold a Certificate III in Information and Communication Technology or equivalent attainment from employment or training background.
• Have experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues as well as dismantling, repairing and reassembling laptops and desktops.
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be able to prioritise, demonstrate initiative and take a proactive and flexible approach to tasks, while working as an effective member of a collaborative team.
• Hold a current Drivers Licence as some travel between campuses may be required.
• Be willing to undertake mandatory child safe training and obtain relevant clearances.
