Seeking a qualified, experienced Secondary Teacher to join our English team at Howard Springs Middle/Senior on a permanent full-time basis.

Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students. It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.

Applications are sought for a suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join our English team at the Howard Springs Middle/Senior campus on a permanent, full-time basis.

Our Secondary Teachers are committed and contribute to the shaping of curriculum, pedagogy and pathways that enable students to fulfil their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English and a strong understanding of the curriculum. They will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to develop, implement, and monitor learning programs and curriculum. A genuine passion for the subject area is highly valued, along with the capacity to teach from Year 7 through to Year 12.

Willingness and experience teaching in other subjects is favourable but not required in this position.
