An established education agency is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in the Lewisham borough from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about delivering high-quality geography education and inspiring students to understand the world around them.

The Role

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available for suitable candidates)
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including field trips and enrichment activities
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Geography or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Geography
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
