ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Assistant working 38 hours per week during term-time plus an additional two days during non-term time. This is a temporary contract commencing from approximately 11 May 2026 to the end of Term 1, 2027.
St Lucy's front reception area is the most vital point of enquiry into the School. The role is responsible for answering telephones and redirecting calls, meeting and greeting all visitors to the school, making them feel welcome and valued in a calm and welcoming environment.

To be successful for this role, the following experience, skills and attributes are essential. :
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively at all levels of the school.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Calm and well presented with a professional, positive and welcoming disposition.
- Operate effectively in a collaborative team environment by building rapport and strong relationships.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a similar role, ideally within a school environment.
- High level of integrity and trust, professional demeanor, understanding of the importance of confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Senior First Aid Training.
- Current Employee Working with Children Check.
- A preparedness to embrace the ethos and values of St Lucy’s School.
